To add an image to a gallery or use it as an illustration for one of your articles, it must first be added as an image page. Go to Create Content --> Image the page will have all of the standard fields that you are used to (if you need help on these see General Content Entry Instructions).

In addition to the standard fields you will find the following fields:

• Image -- Press the browse button and select the image from your computer to upload.
  The maximum size for an image is 800x800 (on most systems) If the image is larger than that it will, automatically, be resized when you upload it. (If bandwidth is an issue for you, resize before uploading to decrease your upload time.)

  The system will automatically create a thumbnail (200x200 on most systems) and a preview image (400 X 400 on most systems).

• Image Galleries -- You may select one or more image galleries to display the image in.
  Hold the Control key while clicking to select more than one gallery.
  If you need a new Gallery you will need to contact us to set that up for you.
• Rebuild Derivative Images -- This box may be left unchecked unless you are editing an existing image and uploading a modified image.
